Professional Development Workshops

a partnership between the US Embassy in Lisbon and the Fulbright Commission

Starting this fall, the U. S. Embassy in Lisbon in partnership with Fulbright Portugal will present several professional development workshops in multiple locations throughout Portugal. Over a year in the planning, Portugal was awarded a small grant to finance this effort.

The planned workshops include: interpersonal communication; leadership and coaching; team dynamics, team building & team management; conflict resolution and negotiation; as well as grant writing.

In addition to organizing what we hope will be fun ways for alumni to connect, learn and grow together, we hope that these workshops will be transformational, both in your professional and in your personal lives.

We are planning to start the workshops in late October/early November, and they will run into March or April of 2014, taking place on Saturdays in Lisbon, Porto, Aveiro, and Coimbra. We hope you will be able to join us for one or more of these workshops.
